HOLE-E-COW. Done. I'm done. Done participating in that and done creating demand for it. I'd like to think that if you're careful about the meat you select, you can cut down on the mistreatment, but if even HALF of the stuff in this kind of literature is true, that's not enough. Time to do this for real. No more vegan sympathising - time for actual veganism. Thanks for the kick in the pants, Jamie!
ReplyDelete"Screw you!" Well said.
ReplyDeleteI love Skinny Bitch and am glad you unveiled it for all, not just women.
I despise when people try to pass me off as a Bible thumper pushing my "beliefs" on them. The facts are true whether they believe them or not. This is why I also point the finger at capitalism - as long as money is the end goal, we are all treated like products along the way.
To anyone considering going vegan - it's not about purity. It's about shifting viewpoints and patterns, not depriving one's self. It can be easy and fun.
